@agmplive proudly presents legendary rock band Big Country as they return to the UK in Spring 2025 with their much-anticipated “Come Up Screaming” tour. Featuring Bruce Watson, Jamie Watson, Tommie Paxton, Chris Stones, and Reece Dobbin, Big Country will electrify stages across eight cities with their signature anthemic sound and powerful live performances. Fans can expect classic hits, deep cuts, and fan favourites from their extensive back catalogue.

Special guests for these dates are The Vapors @thevaporsofficial and Pistol Daisys @pistoldaisys.

Due to Bruce Watson being struck down with Winter Sickness Bug, regrettably we have had to make the toughest decision to postpone Kinnerminster, Wrexham and Nuneaton shows. It’s not at all what we want to do but he is unable to travel or perform in his current condition.

Once we know the revised dates have been decided, we will post immediately.

However, we know that not everyone will be able to attend rescheduled dates, in this instance, we have been instructed to advise patrons, that refunds will be available from Point of purchase.

As many of you know, Mark has left Big Country to pursue other interests. We wish him well.

We have been rehearsing with a great young drummer called Reece Dobbin, who is from Dunfermline. All shows are going ahead except Warrington, which we are hoping to move to another date.

We are sorry we can’t do that show as Reece is unavailable for that date only.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Dear All,

As comments on social media continue about a possible split in the band and the surprise announcement from Simon Hough about his departure, we have decided to take stock.
First of all, we greatly appreciate the years Simon put into Big Country. We wish him all the best in the future.

There is no split in the band. We will continue to celebrate Stuart’s songs and the music of Big Country. This will include working on ‘heritage’ projects such as book, documentary and anniversary albums, etc., as well as performing live.

On that note, we would like to introduce you to Tommie Paxton who plays with Restless Natives. He has very kindly agreed to help us out on our shows this year as well as doing RN shows (a project he is very passionate about, and we fully endorse it.)

This has made us realise what is important and why we do what we do.Also, how lucky we are to have Stuart’s songs and our great music to perform to the greatest fans in the world. We will keep everyone up to date with news and would like to thank you for your patience and most of all, your loyalty.
