It is with great happiness that we announce the Big Country Seer 40th Anniversary Tour with Evan Peters presenting The Alarm 🎸 Nov/Dec UK 2026.

This tour honours the meetings between Bruce Watson and Mike Peters a few months after Mike’s tragic diagnosis with Richters Syndrome in April 2024.

Mike and Bruce met at The Red in Wales and made a pact together, that once Mike was ‘cured’ of cancer and ‘Totally Free’, Big Country and The Alarm would head out on tour together in 2026, upon Mike’s recovery, celebrating the greatest hits of both bands.

Mike and Bruce were so excited about their vision of a hybrid Big Country Alarm.

Mike will be forever by our sides at every concert on this Tour.

We look forward to seeing you down the road, honouring and celebrating the spirit of Mike Peters.

This album consists of 10 brand new recordings of Big Country songs, originally written or co-written by Stuart Adamson, Tony Butler and Bruce Watson, which were released as demoes or sketches, but never previously properly developed or lavished with the attention they deserved. With the publication of the well-regarded book on Adamson’s life, ‘Stay Alive’, by Scott Rowley, and a forthcoming documentary, the spotlight is on the band and the legacy once again.

Bruce Watson said of the ‘Eastworld’ release, “Some of these songs will be known to the diehards as they have sneaked out from the archives as unfinished demoes or ‘internet only’ releases, but these are all songs that deserved to be developed further at the time they were written. I am delighted to have now completed them; it is a true privilege to get this newly recorded material out there.”

The Big Country Redux line-up includes Bruce Watson (guitar/vocals), his son, Jamie Watson (guitar/vocals), Tommie Paxton (vocals/guitar), Chris Stones (bass), and Reece Dobbin (drums).
